Listen to the soulful voice of Al-Haaj Owais Raza Qadri . This beautiful naat is written by Aala Hazrat IMAM AHMED RAZA KHAN in praise of Huzur Muhamad Salalahu Alaihi Wa Salam

Lyrics for WAAH KYA JOOD O KARAM

Waah kya Jood o Karam hai Shahe Bat-ha Tera
Nahi sunta hi nahi maangne wala Tera

Dhare chalte haiñ Ataa ke wo hai qatra Tera
Taare khilte haiñ Sakha ke wo hai zarra Tera

Farsh wale teri Shaukat ka Uloo kya jaaneiñ
Khusrawa Arsh pe udta hai Pharera Tera

Aasmaañ khwaan zameeñ khwaan zamana mehmaan
Saahib e Khana Laqab kis ka hai Tera Tera

Maiñ to Maalik hi kahoonga ke ho Maalik ke Habeeb
Yani Mehboob o Muhib meiñ nahi Mera Tera

Tere Qadmoñ meiñ jo haiñ gair ka munh kya dekheiñ
Kaun nazroñ pe chadhe dekh ke talwa Tera

Chor Haakim se chhupa karte haiñ yaañ uske khilaaf
Tere daaman meiñ chhupe chor anokha Tera

Dil abas khauf se patta sa uda jaata hai
Palla halka sahi bhaari hai bharosa Tera

Meri taqdeer buri ho to bhali karde ke hai
Mehw o Isbaat ke daftar pe karoda Tera

Tu jo chahe to abhi mael mere Dil ke dhule
Ke Khuda dil nahi karta kabhi maela Tera

Kis ka munh takiye kahaañ jaaiye kis se kahiye
Tere hi qadmoñ pe mit jaaye ye pala Tera

Tere sadqe mujhe ek boond bahut hai Teri
Jis din achhoñ ko mil-e jaam chhalakta Tera

Haram o Taiba wa Baghdad jidhar kije nigaah
Joat padti hai teri noor hai chhanta Tera

Teri Sarkaar meiñ laata hai RAZA us ko Shafee
Jo mera Gaus hai aur laadla beta Tera

Islam is against terrorism and violence

Islam is against terrorism and violence

What does Islam say about terrorism?

Its very unfortunate today that Terrorism of any sort is always related to Islam and Jihad. A few extereme elements in the clan often misinterprete the teaching of the holy Qurn and present the world all wrong deeds in name of Islam and Jihad.

And due to such elements, Islam stands to often blamed.

But did any one try to understand the teachings of Islam, Its Prophet and the Quran. Who gave you the right to kill in name of Islam? Who are you to kill the innocent people in name of Islam? Are you A MUSLIM? The Answer is NO. You are not a Muslim. You are not a true follower of Islam and its te4chings. If you were a true follower of islam you would not have dared to do such heinious crime.

The Glorious Qur’an says:
And do not kill those souls whom Allaah has prohibited unless [justified by] a due [legal] right {Surah Al-An'am : 6:151}
The Messenger of Allaah said, in an authentic hadeeth reported by imam al-Bukhari,
Whoever kills a non-Muslim who has an agreement with the Muslims then he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise
Our religion of Islaam prohibits transgression and oppression. It prohibits oppression even if this transgression is against someone that we hate. It is still impermissible. We have to be just when dealing with everyone.

Allaah, the Most High, said,
And do not let the hatred of a people cause you not to be just. Be just, because it is closer to piety
Some of the verses of Qran below:
"God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes, that you should show them kindness and deal justly with them. God loves just dealers." [Noble Quran 60:8]
"Fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not begin aggression, for God loves not aggressors." [Noble Quran 2:190]
"If they seek peace, then seek you peace and trust in God for He is the Hearer, the Knower." [Noble Quran 8:61]
" and let not the hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is next to piety; and fear Allah, for Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do." [Noble Quran 5:8]
"But (remember that an attempt at) requiting evil may, too, become an evil: hence whoever pardons (his foe) and makes peace, his reward rests with Allah- for, verily He does not love transgressors." [Noble Quran 42:40]
"The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! He between whom and thee there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a bosom friend. [Noble Quran 41:34]
Some of the Prophet Muhammad's Teachings (Sunnah)

  • He prohibited Muslim soldiers from killing women, children and the elderly, or cut a palm tree, and he advised them, "do not betray, do not be excessive, do not kill a newborn child."
  • "Whoever has killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance is found for a span of forty years."
  • "The first cases to be adjudicated between people on the Day of Judgment will be those of bloodshed." Killing is the second major sin in Islam.]
  • "There is a reward for kindness shown to every living animal or human."
  • From the above teachings how can you decide Islam is a religions of violence. Those who fight and create loss to humanity have never understood the teachings of Islam and Quran.
Islam is a reliegion of peace and love.

The message of the Quran is clear as we have seen, that the sanctity of any human life is to be respected and any violation in that regard is paramount to the worst crime.  Mercy is at the heart of the Islamic call, “We sent thee (O Muhammad) not save as a mercy for the peoples” (21:107); a totally different message to what the terrorists are sadly imparting to humanity.

Significance of YOUM -E-ASHURA 1OTH MUHARRAM

Significance of YOUM -E-ASHURA 1OTH MUHARRAM

Significance of Muharram

The month of Muharram is very important and respected in the opinions of great Sufis and scholars. Ghauth-e-Azam Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Qadri Jilani (ra) in his Ghunya al-Talibeen discusses the excellence of Muharram with particular reference to the day of Ashura (10th Muharram). He says “The day of Ashura possesses a very historical significance. On this day”:

• Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) was forgiven by Allah after he was expelled from paradise.
• Allah protected Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) and his followers in the ark from the storm.
• Allah demolished the fire created by Nimrod to save Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him), who was thrown into it.
• Allah directly interacted and spoke to Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) and blessed him with the commandments.
• Hazrat Ayub (peace be upon him), who was suffering from leprosy was cured on this day.
• Hazrat Ya’qub (peace be upon him) was reunited with his son Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him).
• Hazrat Yunus (peace be upon him) was relieved from the stomach of the fish.
• Pharaoh’s army was demolished and the Bani Israel were saved from his captivity as the sea was divided.• On this day Hazrat Dawood (peace be upon him) was pardoned.
• Hazrat Suleiman’s (peace be upon him) kingdom was re-established.
• Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) was taken into Jannah.• Hazrat Hussain (May Allah be pleased with him), the grandson of the Prophet (peace be upon him) gained the honour of Shahadat (martyrdom)

Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra) further states certain practices, which should be followed and performed on the day of Ashura to receive maximum benefit.

• Whoever is generous towards his relatives and family on this day, Allah, the almighty will provide for him/her throughout the year.• Whoever observes fast on this, it is as if he has fasted all his life.
• He who visits sick and ill people on this day, Allah, the merciful will bless him with rewards, which will not be deleted from his account.
• He who feeds the hungry, gives water to the thirsty or places his hands above the head of an orphan, Allah, the ultimate Provider, will provide food for him from paradise and gift him with non-intoxicating wine (salsabil)
• Those, who are suffering from sickness, illnesses, torments or health problems, should take a bath, and Allah, the Curer, will shower His mercy upon him and grant him a cure.

JANNAT & JAHANUM PARADISE & HELL

JANNAT & JAHANUM PARADISE & HELL

When a man goes to a maiden of Jannat, he will find her as pure and chaste as the first time he went to her but there will be no discomfort in intimacy for either the male or the female. If a drop of a Hur’s saliva falls into the ocean, the sweetness of her saliva, will sweeten the entire ocean.

It has been mentioned in another narration that if a drop of a heavenly maiden’s saliva had to fall into the seven seas, the seven seas would become sweeter than honey. When a person enters Jannat, he will find two maidens at his head side, singing in a beautiful and melodious voice. There singing will not be similar to the shaitaani songs and music of this world but it will be the Praise of Almighty Allah. They have very sweet voices. The creation has never heard such a sweet voice before.

They will also chant a song wherein they will say,

‘Forever we will live and never shall we die. We are blessed with comfort, never to experience any discomfort. We are happy and never will be sad. Congratulations to those who have become ours, whilst we have become theirs.’

With the exception of the hair on their heads, eye lashes and eye brows, the Jannatis will not have any other hair. They will also not have beards in Jannat. The Jannatis will have bluish grey eyes and none will look older than 30 years old.

An ordinary Jannati will be awarded 80 000 servants and 72 wives. He will be presented with a brilliant crown. The smallest pearl in it will illuminate the entire East and West. If a person wishes to have a child then they will become pregnant and have a child within a moment, who will even reach the age of 30 in a moment as well.

Qurbani ka Amali Tariqa | Qurbani Ki Dua Or Tarika - Eid ul Adha

Qurbani ka Amali Tariqa | Qurbani Ki Dua Or Tarika - Eid ul Adha

What is Qurbani?

Sacrifice, also known as Qurbani, means slaughter of an animal in the name of Allah on the 10th, 11th or 12th of the Islamic month of Zil Hijjah.

The real purpose of qurban is to attain Allah's consent and to wish to approach Him. A person who sacrifices an animal approaches Allah and attains His consent through it. Sacrifice is also an example of social assistance and solidarity. In general, the poor eat most of the meat of the animals that are sacrificed. As it is seen, the understanding of approaching God and helping the poor exist in the essence of this worship. No matter what the fiqh decree about it is, sacrifice has had an important place for centuries in our religious life as a kind of worship that is a symbol and sign of Islamic communities.

The practice of Qurbani can be traced back to Ibraheem who dreamt that God ordered him to sacrifice his son. Ibraheem agreed to follow God's command and perform the sacrifice, however, God intervened and informed him that his sacrifice had been accepted. Unlike the Bible, there is no mention in the Qur'an of an animal (ram) replacing the boy, rather he is replaced with a 'great sacrifice' (Zibhin azeem). Since the sacrifice of a ram cannot be greater than that of Abraham's son (and a prophet in Islam at that), this replacement seems to point to either the religious institutionalisation of sacrifice itself, or to the future self-sacrifices of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and his companions (who were destined to emerge from the progeny of Ishmael) in the cause of their faith. From that day onward, every Eid al-Adha once a year Muslims around the world slaughter an animal to commemorate Abraham's sacrifice and to remind themselves of self-abnegation in the way of Allah.

How to perform Qurbani

Details about how to sacrifice the animal for Qurbani

To slaughter the animal as per the guidelines prescribed by the Shariah is called Qurbani.

In Qurbani, cutting these 4 vessels is compulsory

1. The wind pipe.
2. The food pipe.
3. The 2 main arteries of the neck.
Note: If the windpipe, food pipe and at least one of the arteries is cut, the Qurbani is permissible (Halal)

Conditions for Qurbani:

1. The person who is performing the actual Qurbani should be a Muslim.

2. Should be sane.
3. Should be conscious.
4. To perform the Qurbani with the name of Allah Ta’ala like “Bismillahi Wallahu Akbar. “
5. Not to take anybody else’s name other than the name of Allah Ta’ala.
6. To perform the Qurbani saying “Bismillahi Wallahu Akbar. “
7. That the animal should have some sign of life in it.
Note: If any one of the conditions described above is not fulfilled, then the sacrifice does not remain permissible (Halal) and comes under carrion ( Urdu- Murdaar )
It is not necessary that the person who performs the actual Qurbani should be an adult and/or a man. Ladies, minors, those who are uncircumcised, dumb, those who need to take a bath – all of them can do it and their sacrificing the animal is correct provided they are Muslim, sane and conscious and slaughter the animal saying “Bismillahi Wallahu Akbar”

What is Sunnah in slaughtering the animal:

1. To sharpen the knife nicely before slaughtering the animal.

2. To give water to the animal before slaughtering it.
3. The muzzle of the animal should face the Ka’aba and its head, south
4. The person doing it should be with Taharah.
5. The person doing it should face the Ka’aba.
6. To slaughter the animal with the right hand.
7. To make haste and be swift in slaughtering the animal.
8. To clearly pronounce the “Kasra” (Urdu – Zer) of Bismillahi Wallahu Akbar.
9. To softly lay the animal on its left flank
10. To tie the fore and hind legs of a big animal, but leave its right foreleg untied.

How to slaughter the animal

The proper method of slaughtering the animal is that the animal should be made to drink water, then it should be laid down on its left side in such a manner that the animal’s head should face the south and its muzzle the Qibla. A sharp knife should be in held in the right hand and with the recital of “Bismillahi Wallahu Akbar,” the aforementioned 4 vessels in the animal’s neck should be cut, but the head should not be separated from the body. The animal should be released after doing so.

What is undesirable in Qurbani

1. To lay down the animal and sharpening the knife in front of it.

2. Using such a blunt knife.
3. To slaughter the animal from the back side of neck.
4. To slaughter in such a manner that the head is separated or the marrow in the bone at the back     of the neck is reached.
5. To cut away the neck or start skinning the animal when it is still alive.
6. To hold the leg of the animal and drag it to the place of slaughter.
7. To slaughter 1 animal in front of the other.
8. To slaughter at nighttime.
9. To slaughter an animal which will deliver soon.
10. To do something against the Sunnah of slaughtering mentioned above.

Dua for slaughtering the animal:

Transliteration:

Recite this Dua and slaughter the animal with the words: “Bismillahi Wallahu Akbar.”

If Qurbani is on your behalf, then After Qurbani Read the below Dua

Allahumma ta Kabbal minni kama ta kabbal ta min khalili ka Ibrahim Alayhissalamu wa Habeebi ka Muhammadin Swallalahu Alayhi Wasallam

If slaughtering on the behalf of somebody else, instead of the words: “Minne” one should say : “Min” and take the name of the person and his father on whose behalf the Qurbani is being offered (Taqabbal Min ______ bin _________)

What is Bidat in Islam and What are the types of Bidat

What is Bidat in Islam and What are the types of Bidat

The literary meaning of "Bid'at" (in the dictionary) is "innovation; novelty." In the following lines we see where in the Holy Quran this word has been used, and the meaning with which it is associated:

Says the Holy Quran:
Qul ma kuntu midu'a minar Rusuli

"Say I am no Bringer of New Fangled Doctrine among the Apostles." (XLVI: 9)
and it says:

Bari'us samawaati wal ard

"The Originator of the Heavens and the Earth." (II: 117)

and it says:

Warahbaaniyatan ibtadaooha ma katabnaha alaikum

"But monasticism (which) they invented - We ordained  it not for them." (LVII: 27)

In these Ayahs from the Holy Quran the word Bid'at has been used in it's literary meaning. It's definition in the technical language of the Shari'at is different. In the Holy Quran it has been used to mean "to invent" and "to create a new thing", whereas it's technical meaning is as written in the book Mirqat (under Babul I'tisaam bil Kitaab was-Sunnah) - "that belief or action which was not in practice during the blessed age of Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) but was introduced after him."

From this we see that Bid'at is of two kinds:-

Bid'at I'tiqaadi (innovation in belief)

Bid'at Amali (innovation in action)

THE TWO TYPES OF BID'AT

Now let us see the difference between Bid'at I'tiqaadi and Bid'at Amali.

1 BID'AT I'TIQAADI (INNOVATION IN BELIEF)

Is that new belief (which is in contradiction with the Holy Quran and Sunnah) which found its way into Islam after the blessed age of the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Christianity, Judaism, Zoroasterism and Polytheism are not Bid'at I'tiqaadi as these beliefs were in practice before and during the blessed time and also because they do not claim themselves to be Muslims whereas the Jabriyya, Qadriyya, Batiniyya, Bahaaism, Qadyanism, etc. are Bid'at I'tiqaadi (innovations in belief) because they come into being after the blessed age and also came themselves to be Muslims.

2 BID'AT AMALI (INNOVATION IN ACTION)

Is that action which came into practice after the blessed period of Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) be it secular or religious, in the eye of the Sahaaba-Kiraam or after it. Mirqat Babul-I'tisaam says, "In the Shari'at, Bid'at is that innovation which was not there in the blessed age of Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam)." The book, Ashi'atul Lam'at under the same chapter says, "Bid'at is that which came into being after the blessed period of Rasulullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam)."

So from the above definitions of Bid'at we see that a Bid'at Amali (innovated action) can be religious or secular but it has to be after the blessed period of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and i.e. even that action which was introduced into Islam in the age of the respected Sahaba will be considered a Bid'at.

NOTE: If the innovation was brought into practice in the age of the Sahaba then we should not call it Bid'at but Sunnat of the Sahaba as it is respectful to call it so, though it is Bid'at-e-Hasana. Because the word Bid'at is mostly understood to mean Bid'at-e-Sai'yya (vile innovation).

Hazrat Umar (radi Allahu anhu) in the time of his Caliphate, called the people to perform Tarawih prayers in congregation (Jamaat), whereas it used to be prayed individually in the time of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and commented on seeing the Jamaat, "This is a very nice Bid'at."  Bid'at Amali (innovated action) is classified in two:-

Bid'at-e-Hasana (praiseworthy innovation)

Bid'at-e-Sai'yya (offensive innovation)
