Dhul Hijjah Nafil Namaz Dua - Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah - Eid ud Duha Namaz

The Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said and narrated by and on the authority of Hadrat Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (Radi Allahu Anhu),: “There are no days more beloved to Allah that He be worshiped in them than the ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Each day of fasting in it is equivalent to the fast of an entire year. And each night standing in prayer is equivalent to standing in prayer on the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr).” [Jaami’ al-Tirmidhi, Vol. 3, Hadith 758]

Hadrat Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) narrates that “The Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said: ‘When the evening of Arafah arrives, nobody with a mustard seed’s weight of faith (Iman) in their hearts is left, except that they are forgiven.” It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, is this restricted only to the people on Arafah?’ He said: ‘No, it is for all of the Muslims.’” [Majma’ al-Zawa’id, Vol. 3, Page 252]

Hadrat Sayyidatuna Ayesha (Radi Allahu Anha) narrates that, the Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) used to consider fasting the Day of Arafah as fasting one thousand days. [Majma’ al-Zawa’id, Vol. 3, Page 189]

Dhul Hijjah Nafil Namaz, Dua

1) 4 Rakats (2 Salams)

In the first night (After Isha Namaz) of Dhul Hijjah month, Pray 4 Rakats with 2 Salams. 
In every Rakat, read Sureh Fatiha once and Sureh Iqlas 25 times.

Rewards: Allah will bless with abundant Rewards and Blessings  Insha Allah

2) 2 Rakats

From the first night till 10th night (After Isha Namaz) of Dhul Hijjah month, Pray 2 Rakats with 1 Salams. 
In every Rakat, read Sureh Fatiha once and Sureh Iqlas 3 times.

Rewards: Allah will add abundant Rewards and Blessings in his Amal Nama and erase his sins from his Amal Nama.  Insha Allah

3) 2 Rakats

From the first night till 10th night (After Isha Namaz) of Dhul Hijjah month, Pray 2 Rakats with 1 Salams. 
In first Rakat, read Sureh Fatiha once, Ayatal Kursi once and Sureh Iqlas 15 times.
In second Rakat, read Sureh Fatiha once, Sureh Baqara last rukhu once and Sureh Iqlas 15 times.

Rewards: Allah will forgive his sins  Insha Allah

4) 4 Rakats

In the second night (After Isha Namaz) of Dhul Hijjah month, Pray 4 Rakats with 2 Salams. 
In every Rakat, read Sureh Fatiha once, Ayatal Kursi 3 times, Sureh Iqlas 3 times, Sureh Falaq 3 times and Sureh Naas 3 times.

After Salam, recite Darood Sharif and recite this below dua:

Subhana Dhil-Izzati wal-Jabaruti Subhana Dhil-Qudrati wal-Malakuti Subhanal-Hayyil-ladhi La-yamutu La ilaha illa Huwa yuhyi wa-yumitu wa-Huwa Hayyula yamut Subha-nallahi Rabbul-'ibaadi wal-bilaadi wal-hamdulil-lahi kathiran tayyibum-mubarakan 'ala kulli halin. Allahu Akbaru kabiran Rabbana jalla--Jalalun wa Qudratuhu bi-kulli-makan

Rewards: Recite Darood Sharif 11 times after the above dua and ask for anything (Which is Rightful) to Allah in dua and will be rewarded.  Insha Allah

When is Eid al Adha 2018?

Eid al Adha 2018 will be celebrated on Wednesday, 22nd of August 2018 in India and on Tuesday 21st in Saudi Arabia and Middle East Region. The actual date of Eid ul Azha is depends on the sighting of the moon of Dhul Hijjah.


When is Eid al Adha 2018?


In Saudi Arabia, the Saudi official moonsighting team have reported a positive sighting, giving the following dates:

Start of Hajj (8th Dhul Hijjah) - Sunday 19th August.

Day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah) - Monday 20th August.

Eid al-Adha - (10th Dhul Hijjah) - Tuesday 21st August.

The ten days of the month of Dhul Hijjah are great in virtue and it is from the Sunnah to increase in worship and good deeds; especially fasting on the Day of Arafah.

What is Qurbani?
Qurbani or Sacrifice means to slaughter of an animal in the name of Allah on the 10th, 11th or 12th of the Islamic month of Zil Hijjah.


The real purpose of qurbani is to attain Allah's consent and to wish to approach Him. A person who sacrifices an animal approaches Allah and attains His consent through it. Sacrifice is also an example of social assistance and solidarity.

Qurbani Dua

Recite this Dua and slaughter the animal with the words: “Bismillahi Wallahu Akbar.”

Inni waz jahtu wajahi ya lillazi fa ta rassamawati wal arz hanifauv wa ma ana minal mushriqi na in na salaati wa nusuki wa mahya ya wa mamaati lillahi rabbil aalmin. La shariq lahu wa bizali ka uriratu wa ana minal muslimin. Allahumma ma la  ka wa min ka bismillahi Allahu Akbar.

If Qurbani is on your behalf, then After Qurbani Read the below Dua: 

Allahumma ta Kabbal minni kama ta kabbal ta min khalili ka Ibrahim Alayhi Wa Salatu salam wa Habeebi ka Muhammadin Saallalahu Ta’ala Alayhi Wasallam


 If slaughtering on the behalf of somebody else, instead of the words: “Minni” one should say : “Min” and take the name of the person and his father on whose behalf the Qurbani is being offered (Taqabbal Min ______ bin _________)

Recite this Dua and slaughter the animal with the words: “Bismillahi Wallahu Akbar.”

Who should perform Qurbani? What are the conditions for Qurbani?
For the condition of sacrificing, the Malik-e-Nisab is the person who possesses 52 ½ tolas (620 grammes) of silver or 7 ½ tolas (88 grammes) of gold; or they have the same amount equivalent to either of the above item in value in business goods or non-business goods, which are not goods that are the basic necessities of life. The wealth and/or property should be ‘extra’/above one’s basic necessities (hajat-e-asliyyah).

Which animals can be sacrificed for Qurbani? Conditions for Qurbani Animals
 Animals such as goats, sheep, cattle (cows or bulls), buffalo or camels are sacrificed in Qurbani. A camel must be at least five years old; a buffalo should be at least two years old; and a sheep, lamb or a goat should be at least one year old. [al-Durr al-Mukhtar]

The animal intended to be slaughtered should be big and health, and should be free from any faults or defects. If there is a minor defect in the animal, then the Qurbani will count, but it is Makruh. If there is a major defect, then the Qurbani will not count. [al-Durr al-Mukhtar, Radd al-Muhtar, Fatawa-e-‘Alamgiri]

How many animals must be sacrificed in Qurbani?
There are 7 parts of share in large  animal such as a camel, cow, buffalo etc.  So 7 persons from a house or any other can take part in a qurbani of the large animals.

In Small animals such as goat or a sheep, there is one share. So each single person, One goat or sheep must be sacrificed.

What is the correct method of slaughtering an animal? How to slaughter an animal?

The method of sacrificing an animal is to lay it on its left, such that its face is towards the Qiblah and then place the right foot on its side and holding a sharp knife (concealed obviously from the animal or if it is blind-folded then there is no harm).
  • There are 4 veins cut when slaughtering an animal; the windpipe (channel of breath), the gullet (channel of food and drink which lies beneath the windpipe), and the 2 carotid arteries which are two blood vessels on the sides of the neck encompassing the windpipe, they are called wadajain. [Bahar-e-Shari’at and al-Durr al-Mukhtar – Page 640]
  • If 3 from the 4 veins were cut or most part of each vein was cut, then the slaughtered animal is Halal.
  • It is Haram to eat an animal slaughtered by an infidel, an apostate, Dehriyah or a neichri, and every other heretic.
  • If one did not mention the Name of Allah purposely, when slaughtering the animal, then the slaughtered animal has become Haram to eat. If one unintentionally forgot to pray it then it is Halal. [al-Hidayah Vol. 4 Page 419, Bahar-e-Shari’at]
  • Likewise, to slaughter in such a manner that the knife stroke reaches the cerebellum (the brain) or the head is chopped off then it is makruh (offensive) to eat the meat, though the meat is lawful (the offensiveness is in the method of slaughtering not the meat). [al-Hidayah, Bahar-e-Shari’at]

Whom should be the Qurbani Meat be given? How should the meat be distributed?
The meat from Qurbani must be equally divided in three equal parts: One for the home, One for relatives and friends, and One for the poor and needy.

Dono Par Wajib Ho Is Ki Surat Yeh Hai Ke Qurbani Ki Mannat Mani Yeh Kaha Ke ALLAH (Azwajjal) Ke Liye Mujh Par Bakri Ya Bakra Ki Qurbani Karna Hai Ya Is Bakri Ya Us Bakra Ko Qurabni Karna Hai. 

2. Faqir Par Wajib Gani Par Wajib Na Ho.
Faqir Par Wajib Ho Gani Par Wajib Na Ho Iski Surat Yeh Yeh Hai Ke Faqir Ne Qurbani Ke Liye Janwar Kharida Is Par Us Janwar Ki Qurbani Wajib Hai Aur Gani Agar Kharidta To Us Kharidne Sy Qurbaan Us Par Wajib Na Hoti. 

3. Gani Par Wajib Ho Faqir Par Wajib Na Ho.
Gani Par Wajib Ho Faqir Par Wajib Na Ho Iski  Surat Yeh Ke Qurbani Ka Wujub Na Kharidne Sy Ho Na Mannant Sy Balke Khuda Ne Jo Use Zinda Rakha Hai Uske Sukriyah Me Aur Hazrat Ibrahim Allayasallam Ki Sunnat Ke Ihya Me 
(Sunnat E Ibarahim Allaysallam Ko Qayam Rakhne Ke Liye) Jo Qurbani Wajib Hai Wo Sirf Gani Par Hai.

Qurbani ke Masail E Fiqahiyah 

Masla 1 : Musafir Par Qurabani Wajib Nahi Agar Musafir Ne Qurbaani Ki Yeh Tatuh (Nafal) Hai Aur Faqir Ne Agar Na Manat Mani Ho Na Qurbaani Ki Niyat Sy Janwar Kharida Ho Us Ka Qurbani Karna Bhi Nafal Hai.

Masla 2Bakri Ka Malik Tha Aur Uski Qurbaani Ki Niyat Karli Ya Kharid Ne Ke Waqt Qurbaani Ki Niyat Na Thi Bad Me Niyat Karli To Us Niyat S Qurbaani Wajib Nahi Hogi.

Masla 3 : Qurbaani Wajib Hone Ke Sharait Yeh Hai, 

1) Islaam Yani Gair Muslim Par Qurbani Wajib Nahi.

2) Aqamat Yani Muqim Hona, Musafir Par Wajib Nahi, 

3) Tawangari Yani Malik E Nisab Hona Yaha Maldari Sy Murad Wahi Hai Jis Sy Sadqa E Fitr Wajib Hota Hai Wo Murad Nahi Jis Sy Zaqat Wajib Hoti Hai. 

4) Azaad Hona Jo Azad Na Ho Us Par Qurbaani Wajib Nahi Ke Gulam Ke Pas Maal Hi Nahi Lehaja Ibadat Maliyah Us Par Wajib Nahi. Mard Hona Isliye Sharat Nahi. Aurato Par Wajib Hoti Hai Jis Tarah Mardo Par Wajib Hoti Hai Isliye Isliye Balig Sharat Hai Ya Nahi Isme Iktlaaf Hai Aur Na Balig Par Wajib Hai To Aya Khud Us Ke Maal Sy Qurbaani Ki Jayegi Ya Uska Baap Apne Maal Sy Qurbani Karega. Zahir Ul Rawayat Hai Ke Na Khud Nabalig Par Wajib Hia Aur Na Uske Taraf Sy Uske Baap Par Wajib Hai Aur Isi Par Fatwa Hai.

Masla 4 : Musafir Par Wajib Nahi Magar Nafal Ke Taur Par Kare To Kar Sakta Hai Sawa Payega. Hajj Karne Wale Jo Musafir Ho Un Par Qurbani Wajib Nahi Aur Muqim Ho To Wajib Hia Jaisy Ke Makka Mukrama Ke Rahne Wale Hajj Kare To Chunke Yeh Musafir Nahi Un Par Wajib Hogi.

Masla 5 : Sharait Ka Pure Waqt Me Paya Jana Zaroori Nahi Balke Qurbaani Ke Liye Jo Waqt Muqrar Hai Uske Kisi Hise Me Sharait Ka Paya Jana Wajub Ke Liye Kafi Hai Maslan Ek Shakhs Ibteda E Waqt Qurbani Me Kafir Tha Phir Musalmaan Ho Gyaa Aur Abhi Qurbani Ka Waqt Baqi Hai Us Par Qurbaani Wajib Hai Jabke Dusre Shrait Bhi Paye Jaye Isi Tarah Agar Gulam Tha Aur Azad Ho Gaya Uske Liye Bhi Yahi Hukm Hai. Yun Hi Awal Waqt Me Musafir Tha Aur Ashna E Waqt Me Muqim Ho Gaya Us Par Bhi Qurbaani Wajib Hogi Ya Faqir Tha Aur Waqt Ke Andar Maldaar Ho Gya Us Par Bhi Qurbaani Wajib Hai.

Masla 6  : Qurbani Wajib Hone Ka Sabab Waqt Hai Jab Wo Waqt Aya Aur Sharait Wujub Paye Gaye Qurbani Wajib Hogi Aur Iska Rukn Aun Makhsus Janwaro Me Kisi Ko Qurbani Ki Niyat Sy Jibah Karna Hai. Qurbani Ki Niyat Dusre Janwar Mashlan Marg Ko Jibah Karna Jaiz Hai.

Masla 7 :  Jo Shakhs 200 Dirham Ya 20 Dinar Ka Malik Ho Ya Hajat Ke Siwa Esi Chiz Ka Malik Ho Jiski Qimat 200 Dirham Ho Wo Gani Hai Us Par Qurbani Wajib Hai. Hajat Sy Murad Rahne Ka Makan Aur Khanadari Ke Saman Jin Ki Hajat Ho Aur Sawari Ka Janwar Aur Khadim Aur Pehanane Ke Kapde Sy Unke Siwa Chizein Ho Wo Hajat Sy Zaid Hai. 

Masla 8 : Us Shakhs Par Dain Hai Aur Uske Amwaal Sy Dain Ki Miqdar Mujra Ki Jaye To Nisab Nahi Baqi Rahti Us Par Qurbani Wajib Nahi Aur Agar Is Ka Maal Yaha Maujud Nahi Hai Aur Ayam E Qurbani Guzarne Ke Bad Wo Mal Us Sy Wasul Hoga To Qurbani Wajib Nahi.

Masla 9 : Ek Shakhs  Ke Pass 200 Dirham They Saal Pura Ho Aur Un Me Sy 5 Dhirham Zakat Me Ek 195 Dirham Baqi Rahe Ab Qurbani Ka Din Aya To Qurbani Wajib Hai Aur Agar Apne Zarooriyat Me Panch Dirham Kharch Karta To Qurbani Wajib Na Hoti.

Masla 10 : Malik E Nisab Ne Qurbani Ke Liye Bakri Kharidi Thi Wo Gum Ho Gayi Aur Us Shakhs Ka Maal Nisab Sy Kam Ho Gya Qurbani Ka Din Aya To Us Par Yeh Zaroori Nahi Ke Wo Dusra Janwar Kharid Kar Qurbani Kare Aur Agar Wo Bakri Qurbani Hi Ke Dino Me Mil Gayi Aur Yeh Shakhs Ab Malik E Nisab Nahi Hai To Us Par Is Bakri Ki Qurbani Wajib Nahi.

Masla 11 : Aurat Ka Mehar Shauhar Ke Zime Baqi Hai Aur Shauhar Maldar Hai To Us Mehar Ki Waj Sy Aurat Ko Malik E Nisab Nahi Mana Jayega Agar Che Mehar Ma'hmal Ho Aur Agar Aurat Ke Pas Us Ke Siwa Ba Qadar Nisab Maal Nahi Hai To Qurbani Wajib Nahi Hogi.

 Masla 12 : Kisi Ke Pas 200 Dirham Ki Qimat Ka Quran Majid Hai Agar Wo Use Dekh Kar Achi Tarah Tilawat Kar Sakta Hai Toh Us Par Qurbani Wajib Nahi Chahe Us Me Tilawat Karta Ho Ya Na Ho Aur Agar Achi Tarah Use Dekh Kar Tilawat Na Kar Sakta Ho To Wajib Hai. Kitabo Ka Bhi Yahi Hukm Hai Ke Uske Kaam Ki Hai To Qurbani Wajib Nahi Warna Hai.

Gazi Ke Liye Do Ghorde Hajat Me Hai Tisra Hajat Sy Zaid Hai. Aslah Gazi Ki Hajatme Dakhil Hai Han Agar Har Qism Ke Do Hathiyar  Ho To Dusre Ko Hajat Sy Zaid Qarar Dia Jayega. Gao Ke Zamindar Ke Pas Ek Gorda Hajat Me Dakhal Hai Aur Do Ho To Dusre Ko Zaid Mana Jayega. Ghar Me Pehanane Ke Kapde Aur Kamkaz Ke Waqt Pehanane Kkke Kapde Aur Jumuah Wa Eid Aur Dusre Mauqa Par Pehan Kar Jane Ke Kapde Yeh Hajat Me Dakhal Hai Aur In Tino Ke Siwa Chothha Jorda Agar 200 Dirham Ka Hai Toh Qurbani Wajib Hai. 

Masla 14 : Balig Ladko Ya Bibi Ki Taraf Sy Qurbani Karna Chahta Hai To Un Sy Ijazat Hasil Kare Bagair Ijazat Ke Kiye Agar Kardi To Unke Taraf Sy Wajib Ada Na Ho Aur Nabalig Ki Taraf Sy Agar Che Wajib Nahi Hai Magar Kar Dena Behtar Hai.

Masla 15 :  Qurbani Ka Hukm Yeh Hai Ke Uske Jimeh Jo Qurbani Wajib Hai Karlene Sy Bari Ul Jimah Ho Gya Aur Achi Niyat Sy Ki Hai Riya Wagera Ki Madakhalat Nahi Toh ALLAH (Azwajjal) Ke Fazal Sy Ummid Hai Ke Aakhirat Me Iska Sawab Mile.

Masla 16 :  Yeh Zaroori Nahi Ke 10vi Hi Ko Qurbani Kar Dale Isliye Ke Gunjaish Hai Ke Pure Waqt Me Jab Chahe Kare Lehaja Agar Ibtedahe Waqt Me Iska Ahl Na Tha Wujub Ke Sharait Nahi Paye Jate Thy Aur Akhir Waqt Me Ahl Ho Gya Yani Wujub Ke Sharait Paye Gaye To Us Par Wajib Ho Gayi Aur Agar Ibtedah E Waqt Me Wajib Thi Aur Abhi Ki Nahi Aur Aakhir Waqt Me Sharait Jate Rahe To Wajib Na Rahi.

Ek Shakhs Faqir Tha Magar Usne Qurbani Kar Dali Uske Bad Abhi Waqt Qurbaani Ka Baqi Tha Ke Gani Ho Gya To Use Qurbaani Karni Chaiye Ke Pehle Jo Ki Thi Wo Wajib Na Thi Aur Ab Wajib Hai Baz Ulma Ne Farmaya Ke Wo Pehli Qurbani Kafi Hai Aur Agar Bawjud Malik E Nisab Hone Ke Usne Qurbani Na Ki Aur Waqt Khatam Hone Ke Bad Faqir Ho Gya Toh Us Par Bakri Ki Qimat Ka Sadqa Karna Wajib Hia Yani Yani Waqt Guzarne Ke Bad Qurbaani Saqit Nahi Hogi. When is Hajj Performed and Hajj Procedure

The time for Hajj is from the month of shawwal (10th month of Hijri calender) till the 10th of Zil Hajj (the 12th and the last month of Hijri calendar). Before shawwal and after 10th Zil Hajj the Hajj is not permissible except Ahram which can be performed before this, but this is makrooh.


Conditions for Hajj

There are eight (8) conditions for the Hajj which must be all present at the time of performing Hajj to make the Hajj, Farz (obligatory). These conditions are:


  1. To be a Muslim
  2. If he is residing in Darul Harb (literally it means a city or place which is at war with Islam. In general ENNOTAHAN it stands for any un-islamic country) and it should affirmed that the obligation of Hajj is declared as such for the residents of that place.
  3. To be major in age(Baligh).
  4. Possessing normal sensibility (Aqal). Note Hajj is not Farz on a person who is mentally deranged.
  5. To be independent or Free (not a slave)
  6. In good health to go to the Hajj and perform various rites etc with fortitude. NOTE: Hajj is not obligatory on a handicapped person, a blind and one whose legs have been WIMPUTED, or one who is so old and DECEXPIT who is unable to sit a right on a carriage of riding animal.
  7.  He should possess enough resources and be capable to BEAR THE TO AND FOR expenses of Hajj (it means that before proceeding for Hajj he should leave sufficient money for the household expenses in his absence after meeting all expenses such as travel ,transport, stay at the Holy Places etc ; this means the money/resources left at home should SUFFREE the expenses for a moderate clan of family, which he used to support and eater for the needs of his own family and those dependent on him for their essential necessities, known as Hajjat-e-Asliyah which includes the living accommodation clothes of normal use, servants, riding animals, vocational implements, cooking and eating material, borrowings or dues such as loan or dowry.
  8. Time: Hajj shall become obligatory at such at time if before proceeding for Hajj he possesses such amount of money that will cover his expenses up to Mecca Moazzama and back to be there at the time of Hajj.

PROBLEM1:-Formally a person was normal and eligible in all respects, but did not perform Hajj, now he becomes handicapped and can not go to the Hajj, he is now exempt from the Hajj, however, he can sent some one for Hajj-e-Badal (doing Hajj on his behalf, This will give him the reward (sawab) for the Hajj and the man doing Hajj on behalf will also be rewarded).

PROBLEM2:-If the means of livelihood and maintenance of the family of the intending pilgrim depend upon the trade/business run by him, then he must leave such quantity of financial security which would not only meet the demands of the family during his absence but would also enable him to resume business/trade with that money, without disturbing the normal affairs of the family. On in this case, Hajj shall be farz (teller of the soil), then offer meeting all essential expenses of the Hajj, beginning with his departure from and arrival back to his house, he must have sufficient amount kept at home to bear the expenses of the implements purchase of seeds etc on his return; only then the Hajj shall be binding of that intending pilgrim.

PROBLEM3:-For a lady traveler for Hajj if the time distance is of 3 days or more then she must be accompanied by a *Mahram, 
whether she may be young or old, if the woman travels without any Mahram, she will be committing an act against the law of the Shariat, but if she performs the Hajj without Mahram, the Hajj will be an order and the Farz will be fulfilled. 

*Mahram: the man with whom the marriage of the woman is prohibited (Haram) for ever, whether it may be on account of family line age (such as father, son, uncle, brother) or an account of foster age (Raza'at like foster brother, foster father, foster son) P.T.O.

In a Hadith recorded by both Imam Muslim and Bukhari and narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) a person came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said ‘My mother killed herself and did not leave a bequest and I think if she had the opportunity she would have left some donations. Will she get a reward if I donate on her benefit? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ‘Yes’.

In a Hadith narrated by Jaabir (may Allah be pleased with him) he reports that he read Eid-ul-Adha Prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). After the Prayer a ram was bought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which he sacrificed. As he did so he pronounced ‘In the name of Allah; Allah is the greatest. O Lord! This sacrifice is from myself and from whoever has not made a sacrifice from my Ummah’. (Recorded by Imam Ahmad, Abu Daud and Tirmidhi). In another narration from Imam Ahmed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said ‘O Allah! This is on behalf of my whole Ummah’.

Qurbaani hazrat saiyyiduna ibaraheem عليه السلام ki sunnat hai jo is ummat ke liye baaqi rah gayi aur nabi صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم ko qurbaani karne ka hukm diya gaya irshad farmaya
ّفَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَر‌ْ
Tum apne rabb ke liye namaz padho aur qurbaani karo
(surah e kausar aayat no.2) 



AHAADEES E KAREEMA

(1) ummul mumineen hazrat aaishah siddiaqa رضى الله تعالى عنها se riwayat hai keh huzur e aqdas صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم ne irshad farmaya keh yaumunnahar (daswen zilhijjah) men ibn e aadam ka koi amal khuda ke nazdeek khoon bahane ( qurbaani karne) se ziyadah piyaara nahin aur oh jaanwar qiyaamat ke din apne sing aur baal aur khuron ke saath aayega aur qurbaani ka khoon zmeen par girne se qabl khuda ke nazdeek maqaam e qubool men pahunch jaata hai lihaza is ko khush dili se karo

✳Hazrat e Abu Hurairah رضى الله تعالى عنه se riwayat hai keh Huzur e Aqdas صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم ne farmaya jis men us'at ho aur qurbani na kare woh hamari eid gaah ke qareeb na aaye

✳Hazrat e Zaid Bin Arqam رضى الله تعالى عنه se riwayat hai ki Sahaba kiram ne arz ki   Ya Rasoolallah صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم ye qurbaaniya kiya hai farmaya ke tumhare baap Ibraahim عليه السلام ki sunnat hai logo ne arz ki Ya Rasoolallah صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم hamare liye is men kiya sawab hai , farmaya har baal ke muqabil neki hai , arz ki aur uoon ka kiya hukm hai , farmaya keh uoon ke har baal ke badle men neki hai

✳Hazrat Barrah رضى الله تعالى عنه se riwayat hai ki Nabi e kareem صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم ne irshad farmaya sab se pahle jo kaam aaj ham karenge woh ye hai keh namaz padhenge aur phir qurbaani karenge

✳Hazrat e Barrah رضى الله تعالى عنه se riwayat hai keh Huzur e Aqdas صلى الله تعالى عليه وسلم ne farmaya ke aaj ke din jo kaam hum ko pahle karna hai woh namaz hai aur is ke ba'd qurbaani karna hai jis ne aisa kiya oh hamari sunnat ko pahuncha.

MASLAH:- Jis ko Qurbaani karne ka iradah ho us ke liye mustahab hai ke zilhijjah ka chaand dekhne ke baa'd naakhun baal wagairah na kaate.

MASLAH:- Agar kisi shakhs ne (31) din se kisi uzr ke sabab,  khwah bila uzr naakhun na tarashe hon,  khat banwaya na ho ke chaand zilhijjah ho gaya to agarcheh Qurbaani ka iradah rakhta ho is mustahab par amal nahin kar sakta ke ab daswen tak rakhega to naakhun o khat banwaye huye ektaaliswan (41) din ho jaayega aur 40 din se ziyadah na banwana gunaah hai
Fe'l e mustahab ke liye gunaah nahin kar sakta

MASLAH:- Jise dusre ya teesre din Qurbaani karni hai us ke liye behtar hai keh woh dusre ya teesre din Qurbaani ke baa'd naakhun o baal wagairah kaate.

MASLAH:- Eid ki namaz ke ba'd aur Qurbaani se pahle naakhun baal wagairah katwa liya to is men bhi harj nahin

*QURBAANI KA HUKM*


MASLAH:- Qurbaani ka hukm ye hai keh us ke zimmah jo Qurbaani wajib hai kar lene se bariuzzimmah ho gaya

MASLAH:- achhi niyyat se ki hai riya (dikhawa) wagairah ki mudakhalat nahin to allah ke fazl se ummeed hai keh aakhirat men uska sawab mile

MASLAH:- Qurbaani ki mannat sahih hai agar shart paayi gayi to Qurbaani karna wajib hai maslan kisi ne kaha mera fulaan kaam ho jaaye to main Qurbaani karunga aur oh kaam ho gaya to Qurbaani wajib hai

MASLAH:- Qurbaani ki mannat maani aur ye mu'ayyan nahin kiya keh gaaye ki Qurbaani karega ya bakri ki to mannat sahih hai bakri ki Qurbaani kar dena kaafi hai

Steps for Performing Eid-ul-Adha Namaz

There are six extra Takbeers in Eid Namaz

Three before Qira’at (recitation) and after Takbeer-e-Tahrima in the first Rak’at and
Three after Qira’at in the second Rakat and before the Takbeer for Ruku.

Follow the below steps:

Eid Ul Adha namaz ki Niyat

Niyat ki maine 2 rakat namaz Wajib Eid Ul Adha ki, Zahid 6 Takbiro ke, Muh Kaaba shareef ki taraf, Picha is Imam ke, Allah o Akbar

1) Make intention for Eid-ul-Adha for two Rakats Wajib  as above and then lift your hands up to your ears and say ‘Allahu Akbar’ and then fold them below the navel as normal.

2) Now pray ‘Sana’ and then say Allahu Akbar and lift your hands up to your ears and release them and again lift your hands and say Allahu Akbar and release them again and then lift your hands again and say Allahu Akbar and then fold them.

3) This means fold your hands after the first and fourth Takbeer and in the second and third Takbeers release your hands. The best way to remember is that if the Imam shall recite after the Takbeer then fold your hands and when he shall not recite (after a Takbeer) release your hands and hang them on the side.

4) After folding your hands after the fourth Takbeer the Imam will silently recite ‘A’udhubillah’ and ‘Bismillah’ and then he will pray Surah al-Fatiha (‘Alhamd Sharif’) and a Surat loudly and then go into Ruku and Sijdah and (thus,) complete one Rak’at (unit).


5) Then in the second Rak’at the Imam will first pray the Alhamdu and a Surat then lift your hands to your ears and say Allahu Akbar and release them; and do not fold them and repeat this twice. Therefore a total of three times the Takbeer shall be said. On the fourth time say Allahu Akbar and without lifting your hands go into Ruku.

Must to before Eid Namaz as per sunaat of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa salam

1. To rise early in the morning.
2. Take a full bath.
3. Clean the teeth.
4. Wear the best cloths that he had.
5. Wear perfume.
6. To eat something sweet like dates before leaving home.
7. Go to the Eid prayer location very early. (The Prophet use to offer Eid prayer in the central location, that is not to offer it in a mosque of a locality without any legitimate excuse).
8. The Prophet used to go to the Eid Prayer location by one route and will return through another route.
9. He used to go for Eid on foot.
10. He used to chant slowly on the way to the Eid prayer location the following words: “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha illallahu Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Wa lillahil Hamd." (Translation: Allah is the greatest, He is the greatest. There is no god except Allah. He is the greatest. All praises and thanks are for Him)
11. The Prophet used to give Sadqa-e-Fitr (zakatul fitr) for before the Eid day. But if you have not done so please give now before the Eid.

Eid Namaz for Women

It is not permissible for females to perform the Eidain prayers, as there shall be mixing between the men and the women in the Eidgah (place where the Eid prayer is performed). This is why it is not permissible for females to go to the Masajid to perform salaah with congregation; whether they go in day or at night; whether for Jum’ah or for Eidain; whether they are old or young. [This has been stated in Tanwir al-Absar and al-Durr al-Mukhtar Page 114]

Yes, however, before Zawal women can perform the 2 or 4 rak’ats Chasht (Salatud Duha) prayer at home, after the Eidain prayer has finished. [Bahar-e-Shari’at – Vol. 1, Chapter 4, Page 94]

3. If only the women have their own congregation for salaah, then this is also not permissible, as the congregation held by women between themselves (to perform salaah) is not allowed, in fact it is strictly disliked (Makruh-e-Tehrimi). [This has been stated in Fatawa-e-’Alamgiri Vol. 1 Page 80, also in al-Durr al-Mukhtar Page 77]


4. Even if women pray the Eidain prayer on their own, then this is also not permissible as it is a condition to establish the Eidain prayer that it is performed with a congregation. Yes! Women should pray the nafl (supererogatory) salaah on that day; at home, on their own. Insha’Allah they shall receive the blessings and rewards of that day.

A FEW MASA’IL REGARDING EID SALAAH (EID NAMAZ FAQS)

1. If the Imam forgets to recite the extra Takbirs in the first rak’ah and if he remembers after reciting surah Al-Fatihah, he should recite the extra Takbir and repeat surah Al-Fatihah.

2. If a person joins the Eid salaah after the Imam has completed the extra Takbirs then he should recite the Takbir of Tahrimah and immediately, the additional Takbirs, dropping the hands between the first two additional Takbirs and clasping them after the third, making sure that the hands are raised to the ears on each Takbir.

3. Since the condition of Eid salaah is the formation of a jama’ah, a person who missed Eid salaah is unable to perform the salaah on his own. There is no Qadha for Eid salaah.

4. A person who joins the Eid salaah after the Imam has already recited the Eid Takbir should recite the Takbir immediately upon entering the salaah. However, if he enters the salaah when the Imam is about to go into Ruku and he (the late-comer) fears that he will not be able to join the Imam in the Ruku if he stands and recites the Takbir, then he should instead recite the Takbir in the Ruku, and forgo the tasbih of the Ruku but, while reciting the Takbir in Ruku the hands should not be raised as is done when reciting the Takbir when in Qiyam (the standing posture of salaah). If the Imam emerges from the Ruku and the latecomer has not yet completed the recitation of his Takbir which he had missed then he should leave off the balance of the Takbir and join the Imam. In this case the balance of the Takbir which he could not complete are waived.



5. If someone missed a Rak’ah of the Eid Salaah, he should fulfil it as follows: After the Imam completes the salaah, he (the one who missed the Rak’ah) should rise and perform one Raka’h on his own, reciting Qira’ah (Surah Al-Fatiha plus a Surah) first, followed by the Takbirs. The rest of the Rak’ah is then completed as usual.
